Mitch brings a diverse skillset and strong financial advising experience to Cornerstone Wealth Management. He spent the first five years of his career as a financial analyst in the commercial lending business before moving to financial advising in 2005. Additionally, his diverse background and experience in small business management, real estate, property management and agriculture allow him to provide experienced advice and guidance in our clients’ financial needs. Mitch plays a critical role in meeting with our clients, identifying their needs and providing a plan that works for them. He is also critical to the firm’s oversite of our products and services.
He has been named a Portland Five Star wealth manager from 2012 to 2018. The Five Star Award is based on ten objective criteria associated with providing quality services to clients such as credentials, experience, and assets under management. Financial advisors do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2108 Five Star Wealth Managers.
Mitch is also very involved with his local community including the following groups/positions; Molalla Rotary Club President 2010-2011 and 2017-2018, Molalla Kiwanis President 2012-2013, Molalla Chamber of Commerce, Whiskey Hill Kids Soccer Club President 2016-2020, Youth t-ball Coach, Scholarship Committee Member, 4-H and FFA volunteer, Elder Board Member at Foothills Community Church, and Chairperson of the Molalla River School Districts Future Vision Committee 2014-2015.
On a personal note, Mitch has lived and worked in the Canby and Molalla area his entire life. He received his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business Management from Oregon State University in 2000. He lives in Canby with his wife and four children and in his spare time enjoys spending time with them, hunting, fishing, playing sports and raising livestock.
